"After surgery at the two major hospitals, I have spent two periods of rehabilitation at Meadow Lodge. On each occasion I have found the day and night nursing staff, welcoming ,and only too ready to be helpful whenever it is necessary. I always made a point of taking my lunch in the Dining Room . The staff are available to you from your room to a seat in the Dining area and returning you to your room after the meal. This ensures that you not only meet other members of staff but other fellow patients who are able and wish to enjoy a change of company. The physio therapists with short morning and afternoon sessions do a wonderful job, not only getting you back on your feet, but giving you the ability to climb up and down stairs which is no mean feat"
Thank you to Ray Woodhead who was a patient in the Intermediate Care Unit, for sharing his thoughts!
