LEWES GOLF CLUB DONATES £2000 TO FRIENDS OF LEWES VICTORIA HOSPITAL

Trustees Jane Sallis and Colin Lloyd were delighted to receive a cheque for £2,000 on April 23^rd, 2026.

The money was raised during Tony Dunn’s year as Captain, primarily through ‘Captain's Charity Day', a competition focusing on raising money. The Captain may select any bunker on the course and ask anyone who lands their ball in it to pay a fee of £1. Also on this day, there is an open auction for a) a prime car parking space (by the entrance) and b) a number of offers to play at other golf courses.

The Golf Club donation will support equipment requests to help maintain the hospital’s vital service
