SBS May Fayre 2026 A community celebration

Friends of Lewes Victoria Hospital (FOLVH) were delighted to participate and hold a stall at Southover Bonfire Society (SBS) May Fayre on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th May 2026.

It was an opportunity to support a popular community event, promote the charity and explain how Friends of Lewes Victoria Hospital charity supports our hospital.

The May Fayre was held on the Priory Fields, Lewes over a weekend. FOLVH hosted games on the stall for SBS, including “Test your strength” and “Beat the wire.” Both games proved to be popular and a lot of fun for many, especially the youngsters who enjoyed making a lot of noise on “Testing your strength" ! In addition, FOLVH put on “Guess the number of sweets?" competition that was won by a 9 year old!

FOLVH's main purpose at the May Fayre was to showcase the importance of the charity and explain how FOLVH supports the local hospital and promote the latest fundraisers including: FOLVH's recruitment drive for a team of FOLVH sponsored runners to Brighton Half in 2027, FOLVH have eleven free charity tickets - www.folvh.org/event
