Friends of Lewes Victoria Hospital are happy to report on the successful Springtime fundraiser that happened earlier this year in March, as part of the FOLVH Spring Grand Slam.
This year, a team of five ran the Brighton Half Marathon and all worked hard to prepare for the run and also to raise sponsorship, in this case well over £2800.00.
In addition, all members of the team expressed the importance of the Lewes Victoria Hospital in their lives - in articles published in the local press - explaining in detail why they wanted to run to raise money for the Friends of Lewes Victoria Hospital charity.

FOLVH acknowledges the efforts of the wonderful 2025 team and thank them and the generosity of their sponsors this year.
This is the second year running that this fundraising initiative has been held and it taps into what the community loves, in this case running socially!
A special thank you also to Jane and Lesley, two of our trustees who got up crack of dawn to help marshal for the amazingly popular Brighton Half Marathon event.
